Dads get a bad rap sometimes. Commercials often make them seem kind of incompetent, or even absent. I don’t know about you, but the dads in my life are extremely competent, and present in their kids’ lives. I really believe in the importance of celebrating Dads all year long, but of course it’s fun to go all out on that one day a year where everyone agrees that dads are great. That day is rapidly approaching.
It doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to spoil Dad on his day! In fact, If you have about $20, a little elbow grease, and a printer, you can give Dad an awesome Father’s day.
I was struggling to find something really different for a Father’s Day gift this year. While shopping with my mom at Walmart, we happened upon these Armor All Car Care Gift Packs for $19.88. It has everything you need to clean your car inside and out, and at over a $30 value, it’s a great deal. If you print out this coupon for $2.00 off at Walmart, it’s an even better savings!
I wasn’t going to make Dad wash his own car, so I got to work. Not only does the Armor All Car Care Gift Bucket come with 6 great Armor All Products, it also includes accessories, pro tips, and of course a great car-washing bucket!
Here’s everything you can find in the Father’s Day Buckets:
- Armor All Orange Bucket with Lid
- Armor All Extreme Tire Shine
- Armor All Original Pump 10oz
- Armor All Ultra Shine Wash & Wax
- Armor All Cleaning Wipes
- Armor All Glass Wipes
- Armor All Quick Silver Wheel & Tire Cleaner
- Armor All Towel
- Armor All Pro Tips Booklet
Put the kids to work with the sponge and bucket and a little of the Wash & Wax formula. I had to do the roof, but for the most part they were able to do a great job washing and drying the car.
A freshly-washed car is a great gift in itself, but what really stands out is the details. The Father’s Day Bucket has everything you need to shine and protect the interior, glass, and even the tires. The Armor All products not only help the car look nice, they also protect the value of the car by helping prevent fading, discoloration, and other wear and tear.
When you’re finished, everything fits nicely back into the bucket for storage. I did leave the wipes out to give to Dad for easy up-keep.
Once Dad’s car is shiny and clean, you can spoil him with a list of fun things to do on his Dad’s Day Out. He can do it on Father’s Day, or any day of his choosing. Print out this Free Dad’s Day Out Printable as part of his gift! (Printable courtesy of the awesome Jill at Popsicle Blog. There are two versions, one from “me” and one from “us.”)
Give Dad the gift of a clean car this Father’s Day! Isn’t it fun to spoil Dad?
